Alviso In Action has taken a role in the new Alviso garden, recently reopened in 2022. By renting two plots and sponsoring plots for Alviso residents to use we plan on building a closer bond with other plot holders. We believe being part of the community garden is an important role. Alviso had its first community garden opened in the year 1980. It then closed around 1995 due to needed improvement. We plan on being a yearly plot holder at the garden to protect it from every closing again.
